Treaty: Germany, war is over and shocked. Everything is a mess, someone must take responsibility.

League of nations: proposed by Wilson, he wants a of league of nations. He sends a representative to settle things down. Govern body of nations, Germany is not included and is looking for some solutions. They expect ww1 to end all wars, excluding nations creates more problems. Most European nations agree. USA doesn't but the senate must agree but doesn’t. The USA also wants to isolate itself like Britain did, but that doesn’t end up working. This sets the groundwork after ww2. Excluding some countries that have no say. Germany loses territory that could have helped to re-grow after the war and limits their ability to rebuild when taken away. Military limits place of the army a thousand or less, no more importing of making of weapons or any kind. The limitations are only on Germany. War guilts Germany, they had to take all the fault. It takes about $33 billion to repair ally countries. impossible amount at that time, economy is devastated, whole generation gone, everything gone bad trying to rebuild nation. There is an immediate effect every one, France. Austria-Hungary is no more, the Zar is assassinated, Germany republic. Germany is very mad, and feels like they are screwed over. Competition remains and never goes away. This plants seeds for ww2.
